I have a Dyson canister vacuum and I am very pleased with it. I was thinking about getting a cordless hand vac from Dyson to make things a bit quicker at home. Thought DC34 would be the perfect choice until I saw this review:

Says there are issues with DC34. Is this true and what kind of issues? Anyone have any negative experience with DC34. Comments appreciated so I don't spend all the money in vain.

I'd be sceptical of any review which says "DC58 gets absolutely perfect ratings". Nothing gets absolutely perfect ratings. The DC34 gets 4.3 stars on Amazon (UK) so not exactly bad. Plus Dyson gives a 5 year guarantee so they will have ironed out any problems with the DC34 by now or it would end up costing them a fortune. I wouldn't pay much attention to that article.
