hi hope somebody can help
what is the quietest dyson
everytime my wife hoovers up in the living room i can't here the telly
this is not good
i told her to go round and pick the bits up
but this suggestion didn't go down very well
any help would be much appreciated

Dyson don't publish noise levels for their machines. The only one they market as a quieter one is the DC19DB which is a cylinder. Of course the smaller ones will be quieter but also less effective at cleaning.
I'm not sure you'll be able to hear the TV with any vacuum cleaner to be honest. Maybe they should make a machine with a little arm that picks the bits up as you suggested (and also crouches when in front of the TV).

I own a DC50 and it's moderately quiet. A friend of mine has the 59 Motorhead, it makes twice the sound.
