Certainly looks interesting and very high tech. Whatever it is, it's due to be launched on 5 Feb.
Something new on the way from Dyson: New Dyson Airblade Tap
Re: Something new on the way from Dyson
I have seen a video on YouTube on Dyson Germany, but it is private right now. This technology is a new hand dryer. It is also known as Airblade Mk2, but Dyson will be releasing multiple products (probably 3 or 4), which are going to be used in bathrooms. In this video, there was a one wall mounted device, one more traditional Airblade with "new" digital motor and one basin mounted device, which seems to be one in the teaser video...

Interesting! I noticed that the teaser video is on the homepage for www.dysonairblade.co.uk (and .de) but not on the main dyson website homepage so that is making sense now.
If these are intended as consumer products iit will be interesting to see how they are powered if they are designed to be fitted in the bathroom.

These are probably not going to be consumer products... I think...
Re: Something new on the way from Dyson
Just received an email from Dyson confirming what their new product is and, as someone else has correctly said, it's a combined tap/hand dryer.Onion wrote:Certainly looks interesting and very high tech. Whatever it is, it's due to be launched on 5 Feb.

Re: Something new on the way from Dyson
I just received it too. Well predicted Darcer!
Here are the three new products:
Dyson Airblade Tap AB09 AB10 AB11
This is the one getting the most attention. A tap with built-in airblades, one either side. There are three variants: short (AB09), long (AB10) and wall-mounted (AB11). Looks pretty smart!

Dyson Airblade V AB08
New slimline wall-mounted hand dryer, only 4" thick.

Dyson Airblade MK2 AB06/AB07
Seems to be an update to the original airblade, including the latest Dyson Digital motor. It looks just like the original.
