V10 / V11 dock query

Hi.
I’m thinking of purchasing the V10 or V11 and am going to mount it in a cupboard.
I notice the total height is 1250mm, but a friend mentioned that you need extra space above the dock as the unit slides in the top.
I may struggle as I have a shelf in my cupboard.
How much extra space do you need in order to slide it in?
Would it be around 300mm?

Yes you will need extra space at the top to slide the handheld unit in. However the machine does not need the lance connected to the machine to be charged in the dock. If you was to charge the handheld unit on its own this would give you ample room. You could then sit the lance within the cupboard.
