bought this dyson two years ago, cant remember where from. and over last few months partner been complaining it doesnt work properly. its just seems to have lost its suction all of a sudden, the machine itself is almost spotless and gets very little use.
even tho warranty i paid for has expired, surely dyson would consider this to be a failing of their highly reputable product.. there must be something that says a dyson which we paid around £200 would last longer than 2 years, otherwise whats the point in buying a dyson
i simply need adivice on what to do, ive taken it apart cleaned it. simply not willing to accept paying £200 for something that hasnt stood up to its reputation.

Hi thefirm1234 and welcome to the forum Hopefully some good news for you! As far as I'm aware all Dysons bought from July 2006 onwards came with a free 5 year guarantee (see link below). http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=1652I would give them a call. Hopefully they can verify when you bought it and if so they should fix it for you (they are usually very helpful) but if you don't have any luck come back and we'll see if we can help you.
