Dyson model: DC35

Hi
This is a great vacuum.
Unfortunately I dropped it from a small height. The door which unclips to empty the waste popped off.
The lugs are OK, but I can't see how it will clip back on without breaking the lugs.
Does anyone have any techniques to get it back on without breaking the lugs?
Best regards

These bins are made of very strong plastic (polycarbonate). Have a look and see if there is any lead-in feature for the lugs to pop into. There might not be, there isn't on my DC14. You might have to be brave! You could also try heating the lugs up a bit with a hairdrier to soften the plastic a little beforehand but do be careful not to overheat it. Otherwise, give the Dyson helpline a call - they are very helpful and may have some other tips. Hope you get it back on there.
