Dyson model: DC44
Hi. My DC44 has developed a habit of keeping on cutting out for a few seconds. Pulling trigger again and it restarts, only to cut out again a few seconds later. I have discovered that not using the "max" button seems to cure it, but i prefer to use it on "max". Any suggestions besides not using "max"? Many thanks.

Hi, the problem you are experiencing is down to a faulty battery. The vacuum should not really be used on max all the time, this has not caused the battery to go, but thought I would mention it.

The best solution would be a new battery, you can buy good quality after-market batteries, just dont buy to 'cheap'. Even if you spent say £50, you could not get a handheld vacuum as good as that for that sort of money :)
