Dyson model: DC44 Animal
Hi. I have had a DC44 Animal for several years. My daughter's DC59 has just refused to work, so I removed the one-month old replacement battery from my DC44 and that from the DC59 and connected, by wire, my DC44 battery to the DC59 (as the two aren't interchangeable). Unfortunately (and I'm kicking myself) I must have cross-wired positive and negative terminals and my DC44 briefly sparked at the wire connection and, despite a long charge, seems to have 'died' completely. Is there anything I can do to save my new DC44 battery, or is it now scrap?!!
