Dyson model: V6 absolute
I have a V6 absolute and it has worked fine for a while but the other day it pulses like the motor spins up and stops every few seconds.

Has any experienced this and knows what I can do to sort it. My mum bought it and used it once and just left it in the charge cradle till I started using it.

Any help would be great.

The pulsing is an indication that the machine is blocked as so causing a restriction in airflow. Make sure the filter has been properly washed. Also check for blockages in the metal tube and cleaner heads. The other thing is to check the clear bin. Where the dirt enters the bin there is a rubber flap, that is designed to seal across when docked to stop dust coming out.

This can at times get stuck shut, if you see this is shut then give it a poke with your finger and it should open again. On the newer bins they made this flap out of plastic to help with this issue.

I hope the above points are of use to you or anyone else reading this with the same issue.
