It is common for the battery to develop a fault where on low setting it will work and last, but on high setting it will drain the...

Re: Dyson 7 animal - brush head not spinning
Hello, the photos are not loading. However what I would say to check; is remove the brush bar from the cleaner head. Near the end there will be a black shield that turns. This contains a big bearing, the normal cause for the motor not spinning when the brush is in, is because this bearing is faulty ...

Re: Dyson Fluffy Purple velvet has worn off
We are actually getting some of these made, as like you say Dyson do provide them. Also you want to establish if is worn, or covered in a type of 'grime' (often caused by the oil from a pet mixing with dust). If it is spray some polish on there and leave it a little while before wiping off.

Re: DC05 filter problems
If all seals are in place then there should be no reason for an increased amount of fluff going to the filter. Did you notice this problem after cleaning the filter?

Re: DC35
The best way is sometimes to add a little polish to each lug. Place one lug in first and then push the other side in. It can be done and ones you have done it once you will have no issue doing it again

Re: DC41C
The motor TOC is cutting in for some reason, on some older models they became sensitive over time, so they would stop the motor even if it was running at the correct temperature. If the motor was burnt out you would not be able to keep turning it on, not only that but there would be a terrible burni...

Re: Dyson CY23 Vaccuum Head wheels jamming
Yes it is possible to remove the wheels, it does require force. Big thick screwdrivers either side at the back of the wheel normally does the trick

Re: DC44 Animal battery
Unfortunately this would now be classed as 'scrap'. Batteries cannot be swapped with other models. Both models have different motors, so chances are you have blown some components on the PCB.
