Unit worked well for years. Now when I clean hardwood floors, I can see the unit is dragging and marking the floor. The cover over the belt is worn down and it might be rubbing. Or the black rubber strip behind the beater bar/roller brush may be doing it. Great unit, would hate to buy something else. Does anyone have a recommendation for a solution?
Thanks, Y'all.

J just joined this group to make a very similar post to the one above. Our cordless causes marks on the hardwood floor. I hate to call them scratches, but they are definitely scuffs. I wonder of the ribbed wheels at the back of the floor piece could be causing this? Those wheels are very stiff to turn.
The previous poster wrote some months ago and there is no reply before mine. This doesn't give me much hope for a useful or timely response. Any recommendation for how best to reach the Dyson folks directly on this issue?
Thanks!
Mark
