Dyson model: DC14
Hello
I have a DC14 upright cleaner which I have had for several years. When trying to vacuum the carpet I find it has almost no suction.
When I remove the angle flange thingy at the bottom of the unit linking to the flexible tube which goes the the brushes I find that the suction is normal and very powerful. However, the moment I replace this piece I find there is virtually no suction from the brush part. This makes no sense whatsoever.
The flexible tube is not blocked. I have no idea what happens to the suction once the connector with the flange is replaced but it disappears.
I have tried everything possible many times but, at thje moment the unit is useless for cleaning carpets. It will not pick up a single hair!
As I say, it makes no sense top me but I would really appreciate any advice.
