Dyson model: DC08
I've currently got a DC08 which is rated as 330AW. The latest Cinetic Big Ball model is rated at 250 AW.

So does that mean the latest model of Dyson cleaners is less powerful than a model a decade old?
Is 'power' (for the most part) a measure of 'how effectively will the vacuum clean'?

Dyson model: dc25
The dyson Sallie have smaller motors so raw suction is less however the cinetic has no filters to maintain and a more efficient brush head. The dc08 is is oldest cylinder that dyson supports but will finishing soon so either spend a fortune to get it up to spec or cut your losses and purchase a new one because when they stop the backup there will be no spares available
