Hi,

I bought a Dyson DC08 in the Argos RO sale on October 9 2004 which came with a 2 yr guarentee (I still have the receipt). I have for some time been getting static electric shocks off the hoover when hoovering. Has anyone else had a problem with the Dyson Animal? What should I expect from Dyson? I have looked online at a site where one lady was just told to polish the hoover with household spray polish:confused: and that should reduce the static shocks. I have hoovered when wearing my MP3 player (I like to have music loud when doing housework but dont want to bother my neighbours so use headphones) and have even had electric static shocks coming through my headphones and zapping my ears and my MP3 going off for no reason!

What can I do ?
Please help.
Thanks!

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
